How to read Bond University's Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management requirements as an overseas applicant

Published:

Bond University's Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management is a two-year degree delivered over six semesters. The program code is BN-10019 and the CRICOS registration is 063584E. For an overseas applicant, the requirements are easier to read as separate checks: academic entry, English, intake and fee year, and credit structure. Each check has its own condition, so one strong result does not replace another.

The degree runs two years across six semesters

Bond lists the qualification as a Bachelor Degree in Business, Commerce, and Entrepreneurship. The full program carries 240 credit points. Of those, 180 are compulsory and 60 are elective. Majors and minors are listed as 5 and 6 options respectively. The stated duration is 2 years (6 semesters).

Four on-campus intakes are listed for 2026 and 2027

Bond lists these offerings at the Gold Coast Campus:

Each offering is on campus. The dates describe listed start points.

Academic entry uses ATAR 65 or IB 24

The academic benchmarks on the page are ATAR 65 and IB 24. ATAR is the Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank. IB is the International Baccalaureate Diploma. An overseas applicant may hold a different school qualification, so the ATAR and IB figures are best read as the two benchmarks the page states, not as a universal conversion table.

English has two listed routes

Bond lists IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no subscore below 6.0. It also lists PTE Academic overall 58 with no communicative score below 50. The IELTS and PTE results are separate routes into the same English check. A reader should apply the condition attached to the test they take.

Tuition changes with the intake year

For 2026, Bond lists international tuition at AUD 25,040 per semester and AUD 150,240 for the full program. For 2027, it lists AUD 26,200 per semester and AUD 157,200 for the full program. Bond's note says tuition is a reference amount and varies with the subjects chosen and the year of entry. The year attached to the fee therefore has to match the year attached to the intake.

Credit points show how the degree is built

The 240 credit points are split into 180 compulsory and 60 elective points. The elective block is the part used to tailor the degree. Bond lists 5 major options and 6 minor options. The two-year duration and the 240-point total describe the same full program.

Internship and mentoring sit outside the entry checks

The program page lists an internship through connections with international tourism organisations such as Marriott, Sheraton, Accor and Wyndham. It also lists personal mentorship through the Bond Business Mentoring program. These are features of the degree, not conditions of admission. Keep them separate from the academic and English requirements.

Put the checks in order

Read the degree in this order:

Use the CRICOS registration 063584E when the international course identity matters. The 240 credit points and six-semester duration are the frame around those checks.

Fees and requirements are subject to the official publication for the year you enrol, so check the figures against the year of your intake before you plan around them.
