École Supérieure du Parfum(高等香水学院)International Student Guide: Programs, Entry Requirements, Costs and Application Support

Published: Updated:

This guide is written for international students considering École Supérieure du Parfum & de la Cosmétique(高等香水学院), a private French higher education institution specialising in the perfume and cosmetics industries. Every figure below comes from the school’s own website as accessed on August 6, 2026. Facts the school reports about itself are presented as the school’s own claims, and fees, dates and requirements should always be re-checked against the latest official pages before you apply. All amounts are in euros.

École Supérieure du Parfum at a Glance

École Supérieure du Parfum & de la Cosmétique introduces itself on its homepage as a school founded in 2011 and supported since its creation by major companies and institutions of the perfume industry that contribute to curriculum design. The school’s “L’école” page adds that it belongs to the AD Education group, that it offers second-cycle (Bac+5) programs in Paris and Grasse, and that its curriculum committee is chaired by Maurice Alhadève, a former director of ISIPCA, with companies such as Dior, Interparfum, L’Oréal, IFF, DSM-Firmenich, Takasago, Givaudan and the Fédération Française du Parfum taking part in defining teaching content. The same page reports the school’s own statistics: a 93% employment rate two years after graduation, more than 150 partner companies, 70 guest lecturers, and 18% of learners from abroad. The school holds the Qualiopi quality certification, and its core diploma is registered in the French national register of professional certifications (RNCP) under number 37850 at level 7.

Campuses: Paris and Grasse

École Supérieure du Parfum operates two campuses. The English-language homepage describes the Paris campus as located in the Cambronne district near UNESCO headquarters, with more than 1,000 square metres of renovated facilities, at 3-5 Rue Cambronne 75015 Paris. The Grasse campus, at 18 Bd du Jeu de Ballon 06130 Grasse, sits in the historic centre of Grasse about three minutes from the Fontaines Parfumées, with around 650 square metres of facilities, and forms part of the Grasse Campus initiative supported by the city and the Pays de Grasse area. The international pages of both the French and English sites state that the school offers internship opportunities abroad and that its programs follow the standards of the Bologna agreement.

Programs and Teaching Hours

École Supérieure du Parfum lists five main program families on its formations page. The flagship five-year “Création & Management pour l’industrie du Parfum” (Creation & Management for the Perfume Industry) program runs in both Grasse and Paris and leads to the certified title Créateur – Manager en parfumerie et cosmétique (RNCP 37850, level 7). Its program page gives annual teaching hours of 661 in year 1, 678 in year 2, 636 in year 3, 626 in year 4 and 455 in year 5; by the end of year 3 students are expected to know around 300 raw materials, year 4 includes a mandatory 4-month company internship, and year 5 switches to a work-study rhythm of one day at school and four days at the company, with a choice between production/quality/regulatory and marketing/communication specialisations.

The five-year “Formulation & Management pour l’industrie cosmétique” program, new since the 2024 intake and based in Paris, gives 670 hours in each of its first two years and also leads to the RNCP 37850 title. The two-year “Mastère Marketing des parfums & produits cosmétiques” (Master’s in Perfume & Cosmetic Product Marketing) is open to Bac+3 graduates, runs in a hybrid format with e-learning so it is accessible across France, operates on a work-study basis in both years, and lists 450 hours in year 1; its diploma corresponds to RNCP 38504 (level 7). The FESAPCA master’s, run jointly with UVSQ Paris-Saclay University, alternates two months at a company and two months of teaching, and corresponds to RNCP 38705 (level 7). Finally, “Creation & Management for the Perfume Industry” is a 100% English-taught two-year master’s in Paris (RNCP 37850) with 641 hours in its first year including a mandatory 4-month internship, followed by a work-study final year. Continuing professional education is also offered. Teaching-hour figures for École Supérieure du Parfum’s programs can all be re-read on the individual program pages.

Entry Requirements

École Supérieure du Parfum does not admit through the French Parcoursup platform. Its admission page states that entry is possible from year 1 to year 5, subject to available places, with registration opening in October each year. For year 1, the FAQ page indicates that a broad range of baccalauréat backgrounds is acceptable (general tracks in science, economics and social sciences, or humanities with mathematics, as well as vocational tracks STAV, STI, STL), and that non-science backgrounds can take catch-up classes. Higher-year entry carries more specific requirements: year 3 needs a Bac+2 in chemistry, year 4 needs a Bac+3 or an RNCP level-6 title in perfume/cosmetics with fluent written and spoken English, and year 5 needs a Bac+4 or equivalent. For international students, the school’s international page states a French language requirement of B2 and a qualification level equivalent to the French baccalauréat; the English-taught program instead requires fluent English.

Fees and Payment for 2026/27

The fees page of École Supérieure du Parfum publishes 2026/27 prices including tax. In Paris, the five-year programs (Création & Management and Formulation & Management) cost 9,700 euros per year for years 1 to 4 and 12,000 euros for the work-study year 5. In Grasse, the Création & Management program costs 8,800 euros per year for years 1 to 4 and 12,000 euros for year 5. The two-year marketing master’s costs 10,000 euros per year. A one-off application fee of 500 euros applies for full-time study and 200 euros for work-study programs, payable at registration. Tuition can be settled in one payment (15 July) or in three or six instalments, and the fees include an olfaction kit, a technical equipment pack and a first-year membership of the Luxury Careers employment platform. The school notes that tuition is revised annually; the instalment footnotes still mention the 2025/26 year, and the English site’s fees entry still refers to the 2025-2026 academic year, so confirm the current figures on the latest French-language version of the page. For work-study programs, tuition may be covered in whole or in part by the company or by an OPCO; the school also mentions instalments, a preferential-rate loan arranged with BNP and ERASMUS scholarships, without publishing scholarship amounts.

Application Process and Deadlines

The admission procedure at École Supérieure du Parfum is built around a motivational interview. Applicants send a file comprising their two most recent school reports, their baccalauréat marks, and any documents showing motivation (internship summary, CV, motivation letter, recommendation letter). After a request, the school contacts the applicant within 24 to 48 hours to arrange an interview on campus or remotely. The interview lasts roughly 30 minutes to an hour and includes a written test, assessing general knowledge of the industry, motivation and olfactory skills; the FAQ page adds that the written test takes about two hours in total. A response is given within about a week, admission is conditional on obtaining the baccalauréat, and successful applicants complete their online registration within 15 days, paying the application fee. For international students, admissions are open year-round subject to places and visa processing time; the version of the admission page accessed lists an application deadline of September 2026 and advises non-EU students to apply by the end of June 2026 to allow time for consular procedures. The school does not publish per-year intake numbers, interview pass rates or waitlist details, and the costs of accommodation and living in Paris or Grasse are not stated on its site — those need to be checked against French official sources.

Before You Apply: A Checklist
