About Curtin University Singapore
Curtin University Singapore describes itself on its official site as a global campus of Curtin University and a registered Private Education Institution (PEI) in Singapore, with PEI registration number 200804822R valid from 20 May 2026 to 19 May 2032. The campus is located at 10 Science Park Road, The Alpha, Science Park II, Level 3, Unit 03-08, Singapore 117684. Its published student headcount grew from 2,378 in 2021 to 4,988 in 2024, and the site states the campus now has over 3,500 students. In the 2025 Private Education Institution Graduate Employment Survey published by the campus, 43.2% of graduates were in full-time permanent employment and the median gross monthly salary for those graduates was S$3,350. Curtin University Singapore teaches across business, communications, information technology and health sciences, and it is one of several Curtin campuses that also include Australia, Mauritius, Malaysia, Dubai and Colombo.
Programs: a pathway from diploma to doctorate
Curtin University Singapore offers courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels, plus English language courses and a Study Abroad option. The diploma programs are Diploma of Arts and Creative Industries, Diploma of Commerce and Diploma of Computing; a diploma is structured in two stages, with Stage 2 equivalent to the first year of the corresponding bachelor degree and leading into the second year of that degree. Undergraduate options include Bachelor of Commerce with majors such as Accounting, Finance, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management and Marketing (plus combined majors), Bachelor of Communications (Top-Up), Bachelor of Computing (Cyber Security), Bachelor of Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) Conversion Program for registered nurses (Top-Up). Postgraduate options include Master of International Business, Master of Supply Chain Management (Professional), Master of Advanced Practice with clinical leadership and wound/ostomy/continence nursing specialisations, Master of Computing with Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Cyber Security majors, Master of Artificial Intelligence, Master of Cyber Security, and Master of Predictive Analytics (Data Science), alongside graduate certificates and graduate diplomas. There is also a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) offering.
Entry requirements for international students
Curtin University Singapore’s admission criteria page lists minimum academic requirements by country or region. For applicants from China, a bachelor degree requires the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) with an aggregate equivalent to 67% of the overall maximum score; Diploma (Stage 2) requires Senior Middle 3 (Gao San) with a minimum average of 70% in four academic subjects; and Diploma (Stage 1) requires Senior Middle 2 (Gao Er) with a minimum average of 70% or a Hui Kao average of at least 60%. The site also lists common alternative pathways such as ATAR 70, SAT 1000 or IB Diploma 24. English language requirements are published separately by level: IELTS Academic 5.5 (no band below 5.0) for Diploma Stage 1, 5.5 (no band below 5.5) for Diploma Stage 2 in Commerce and Computing, 6.0 (no band below 6.0) for Diploma Stage 2 in Arts and Creative Industries, 6.0 (no band below 6.0) for undergraduate programs, and 6.5 (no band below 6.0) for postgraduate programs. TOEFL iBT (from June 2026), PTE Academic, Linguaskill and other tests are also accepted, with undergraduate TOEFL iBT 67 and postgraduate 81, and PTE Academic 50 for undergraduate and 58 for postgraduate. English tests must have been taken within two years of the application.
Costs: tuition, fees and living expenses
Curtin University Singapore publishes fees in Singapore dollars, and the amounts on the site are indicative and subject to annual increases. As an example, the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) lists total tuition for international students of S$62,400 before 9% GST, or S$68,016 including GST, payable over six trimester instalments; the initial rate in the student contract applies for the whole academic year of enrolment. Compulsory non-tuition fees published on the students’ portal include an administration fee for international students of S$800 before GST (S$872 including GST), medical insurance of S$50 per study period (S$54.50 including GST), an ICA processing fee of S$45, and a Student’s Pass issuance fee of S$60 or S$90 as stated in the In-Principle Approval letter. Late course fee payments incur S$160 within 7 days of the due date and S$100 per week thereafter. For accommodation, the site lists estimated monthly rents of S$2,600 to S$3,500 for a studio or one-bedroom and S$3,800 to S$4,500 for a two-bedroom, with a typical arrangement of one month’s deposit, one month’s rent upfront and around half a month toward the agent’s fee. Applying and getting your Student’s Pass
The application process at Curtin University Singapore is described in three steps: choose a course and confirm the intake dates; prepare scanned copies of your academic certificates, transcripts and identification documents following the site’s scanned-document guidelines; and submit the online application. Applications for Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) may take 3 to 6 working days. Once you have met all conditions on your Letter of Offer, you submit acceptance documents at least 6 weeks before the course starts; students who will be under 18 must complete an Identity Declaration and provide parent or legal guardian particulars. After the signed Standard Student Contract is submitted, fees are payable within 7 days, by trimester instalments. Curtin University Singapore lodges the Student’s Pass application with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) on the student’s behalf, with processing taking approximately 2 to 4 weeks, and orientation normally runs at least one week before classes begin. The campus also offers a 25% Academic Scholarship for international students on diploma, bachelor, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, master and Study Abroad programs, applied as a reduction to each trimester’s tuition instalment, subject to availability and other conditions.
